A History of Touchpoint Communications
Touchpoint was founded in 2005 to help organizations tell their stories and manage their media channels.
We believe that strategy is as much about what you don’t do as what you do. We only work on accounts and projects for which we believe our skills are a great fit. And we get to work on plenty of great business! Our bread and butter is managing all media: earned, paid and "socialized." Areas of focus include Economic Development/Enterprise and Tourism/Hospitality. Specifically, we provide insight and expertise to community developments (real estate, special events), start-up and growth-stage organizations, and hospitality clients.
To find out more about our employees - who collectively could be described as true go-getters - visit the Life Stories page.
Typically, people call us because they want their turn in the spotlight. And there's no bigger thrill for us than helping that happen.
Among our placement victories: AARP Magazine, Associated Press, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta Magazine, BusinessWeek.com, CBS Sunday Morning, Charleston Magazine, Charleston Regional Business Journal, Charlotte Observer, CNN, Garden & Gun, Huffington Post, MSNBC, National Public Radio/SC Business Review, The State, The Today Show, Town & Country, Travel & Leisure, USA Today,Vanity Fair, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and Where Magazine.
And heck, we just may be the only Charleston PR firm who earned a special certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records. Ask us how!
Buying media is a complex task: print, broadcast, digital, local, hyper-local, retargeted, native content...it's exhausting, right? Not for us! Our trained media planners utilize strong relationships, tough negotiating skills and keen insight to help maximize clients' paid media budgets.
We're sociable people! And that shows in the award-winning, goal-reaching social media campaigns we've planned and executed for clients. Whether you're trying to navigate Facebook, own a little piece of Pinterest or make sales on Instagram, we're ready to dig in and help.
Other people have told us we are pretty good at what we do (and thank you!)
